🔥How to "understand" yourself. (Spoiler: YOU CAN'T)

Hey Reader,

The 30-Day Live Community Challenge begins this Monday, August 18th, and is open and free to everyone.

Click the button, and you will be redirected to the landing page of the challenge, but you will automatically attend the free challenge. (I need to include a link based on KIT)

You don't need to do more. :)

The finite mind can't explain the infinite mind.
Every reality, religion, and explanation we create is perceived from the finite mind.
Which is already wrong.

Yes, you can get closer to "understanding" yourself, which we associate with purpose, self-love, consciousness, dreams, physics, biology, etc.

But we are striving towards the infinite mind, never being able to reach it.

It is infinite.

We create these models, concepts, religions, and perceptions of reality to understand "ourselves" and where we come from.

But we are never able to achieve that.

We know 0%.

The mind is infinite.
We are never able to achieve even 1%.

There is only one truth, but we don't know what the truth is.

Everything you see is a reflection of your consciousness - a mirror reflecting inside your mind.

As the model of the eye: Your eye bends (refracts) light. As light passes through the curved lens, it inverts the image, so what lands on your retina is actually upside down. Upside down and reversed left to right. And your brain corrects it.

Your brain then constructs a mental model of what it perceives as "being out there."

As the colour of the" black blue dress" or "white gold dress" (a long time ago)

The Simulation Hypothesis Is "Wrong."

The reason I am talking about this is that even significantly "smart" individuals who think of the Simulation Hypothesis believe that it might be "real."

I believe most people have seen the movie "The Matrix" or are at least familiar with it.

The Simulation Hypothesis posits that reality, as we perceive it, is a highly advanced computer simulation. This concept suggests that our universe is not the "base reality" but instead a virtual environment created by an advanced civilization or intelligence.

"The Matrix" is created by the finite mind.

So it is "wrong."

Nothing exists “outside” of reality.

Reality includes everything that exists: space, time, energy, consciousness, thoughts, dreams, matter, and even the concept of “outside.” If something were to exist outside of reality, it would ultimately become part of reality.

Think of reality like a circle that includes everything that exists or can be imagined. There is no “outside the circle” because that would just be more reality.

The problem I see is that people are addicted to power, which is essentially a form of control.

They want to control their mind, they want to control reality, they want to control the world, and they want to "measure" everything, and have facts and ultimatums.

The moment people "enjoy" ultimatimums, is the moment they are already controlled, and are again "wrong." There minds already created a causality of opinions and thoughts of others leading to the thought itself.

They don't understand that control is the problem itself. They are not conscious of their flaws; they are not conscious that their thought of power is already the problem.

When you accept that everything you know is "wrong", you become open to receiving the truth.

But you never know what the absolute truth is.

"Love" is part of the truth, but also what we perceive as "love" might already be (partially) "wrong."

"Love" is the absence of control, the letting go of mental models, concepts, ego and people, to surrender.

But how we see, interpret or execute surrendering might already be "wrong."

Similarly, what both genders should do to surrender is also different, or maybe again "wrong."

"Love" is letting go of everything, everyone, and every single thought you have. Love is pure giving.

But this is just our concept of "love", so it might be "wrong" again.

How To "Understand" Yourself, Towards The Direction You Can.

As mentioned, everything is infinite, so we can only get closer to the infinite, but we partially distance ourselves from the infinite because of the "speed" of the infinite.

Similar to the expansion of the universe, it is "so fast" that every second we think about it, it is already an infinite distance away from it.

We can only raise the percentage of it, but this is already a 0% of the infinite.

But I don't want to confuse you any longer, if I did.

Speaking in ultimatums again:

We can never fully understand everything, because our minds are finite, and that is ok.

The people who are obsessed with figuring this out are controlled mainly by ego. Don’t get me wrong, a certain amount of ego is essential to cultivate curiosity, self-worth, and drive. It should be a healthy ego.

You can and should be obsessed with your work.

I am obsessed with my work, so obsessed that I need to remove anything that doesn't align with my "main quest".

However, I am obsessed with growth, learning, business, the mind, the human body, and the entire human experience.

Yes, I might be one of these "obsessed" people, but I wouldn't trade my future family for this. This is part of why I am doing this.

I am obsessed with learning, understanding the mind, practical implementation, earning wealth, and creating - everything leading towards a better life, relationship, and business.

Some people are so obsessed with their work that they lose the most important relationships in their lives. And that is an unhealthy ego.

To perform 100%, one needs to rest 100%.

Without rest, there is no performance.

To understand yourself, you need a direction, a clear goal, and a main quest where you write down what you want to achieve. How you are going to accomplish this, stays open; it is your story anyway.

Oh snail. Climb Fuji, but slowly. Slowly.
  • Pick the highest destination on your (inner) map.
  • Target it as your goal.
  • Try to get closer to it every single day. Sometimes, rest (active) is what we need to get closer to our goals.
  • Climb it slowly, and enjoy every breath towards the highest point on your map.
  • Never reach the top. It can only go down from there.
Choose the infinite game, and become obsessed about your daily craft.

See "rest" as another puzzle piece for the big picture.

You Need More Ultimatums. More Opinions. (Also, To Make More Money)

Something I have learned after around a year into full-time content creation is that you need to have an opinion.

Know for yourself that nothing is an ultimatum, that there are always little causations influencing each other or that your opinions are also going to change.

However, what people dislike is someone who lacks an opinion.

The people-pleaser, who accepts and agrees with everyone's opinion. This person might have an opinion (because I was a people-pleaser, and I still sometimes have this internal voice), but they might be too scared to say it and stand behind it.

Since I started writing on Threads with more ultimatums and bold opinions, my posts have gone viral.

The more I write in ultimatums or polarizing language, the more it increases its virality.

No one buys anything from you if you are not confident and standing behind your product.

That's why narcissists are often good "salespeople". They would do anything to close the deal, even texting or calling you 10 times a day, until you block them. And they continue on business, as if nothing had ever happened.

I would assume that narcissists are also strong left-brain thinkers, first because of ego, and second because of the lack of emotional intelligence and collective thinking.

However, to make money, you need a healthy ego, a strong reason, and a competitive desire to achieve your goal. You need to be obsessed with it, but aware and mindful enough that it doesn't consume you.

We will revisit the topic of emotional intelligence, which involves being aware of one's own decisions and emotions.

To further explain what I want, I go further into the example of narcissists: these people are not evil, as good villains are never pure "evil".

Thanos is a good example of it. He is not pure evil; he just thinks he is the hero in his mind.

People with narcissistic tendencies ("Real narcissists" are only 1-2% of the population) are emotionally not aware of their actions, emotions and managing their minds. They are sadly suffering in their minds, an increase in entropy and the distance from clarity and focus. They are unable to let go of their thoughts, opinions, and mental concepts, which are so strong that they suffer from them.

An emotionally intelligent choice in my opinion:

To have a deep love for everyone, accepting and letting go of their flaws, while making emotionally intelligent decisions about who, when and why you are keeping people in your life or when you let go of someone's presence.

As mentioned, we need to be obsessed with our goals.

Narcissists are often more successful, earn higher incomes, and hold more prestigious positions.

Even though they have no idea how they accomplished it, because they "simply did what they wanted".

And that's the point.

The only true test of intelligence is if you get what you want out of life. - Naval

Your mental choice should align with how you feel.

"Narcissists" (people with higher narcissistic traits) achieve what they want in life because they don't overthink it.

In some ways, they are "emotionally dumb" (sorry to say that); the only thing they think about is themselves and how they will achieve their goal.

In the long run, narcissists are going to fail because they can't "see" the big emotional or long-term picture, but in the short term, they are often highly successful. Overall, they will be left alone or leave money on the table because they destroy relationships, friendships, and partnerships in pursuit of their short-term goals, which are driven by ego.

But being too nice will also not lead you to where you want to be, and create friction and resentment in your life.

To achieve your goal, you need to learn to become "healthily obsessed".

I am heavily obsessed (you read right: heavily) with my work for 4-6 hours every single day.

During this time, I want to be undistracted.

No person, no animal, no watering of my plants, no cleaning up my room, no emails, no phone calls, no problems outside of my work.

There are 18-20 more hours in a day (minus sleep) where I can do other things.

If you want to make your life's work achievable, you need to create this ultimatum.

That nothing will distract you from your life's work, your life's purpose, and your singular direction.

And trust me, the path of purpose is the one that is going to fulfill you the most. Not any partner, any training, or anything else.

For women and men, these two paths of purpose are different.

A man's purpose is his work, his path towards mastery of his craft.
A woman's purpose is often found in her relationships, whether with her husband, children, or friends.

And that's what both genders need to accept about each other.

Thanks for reading.
