If you master this skill, you will outperform 99% of people.
The sad truth is that not many people talk about it.
It's not taught in university or school, and you could only passively learn it at work if you already know how to improve it.
Most people go through life repeating the same mistakes over and over again until life collapses, and they simply go through the motions of their duties without truly living.
Their consistent failures created resentment in their lives, keeping them stuck and unmotivated, deepening their pain and suffering.
- They might consistently choose the wrong partner, and every ex is an "asshole" or a "bitch".
- They might have started 12 businesses in one year, all of which failed.
- They may experience a consistent yo-yo effect with dieting, losing weight, gaining weight, and so on.
Close to everything related to success in any domain in life is linked to this one single skill.
It is the meta-skill of all skills.
If one individual understands this skill, health, wealth, and relationships open up and cohesively emerge into unity.
Everything you learn is a by-product of the foundation of this skill.
97% of problems in the world are caused by it. Close to every financial difficulty, every inconsistent habit, every failed diet, every relationship issue, and every mental health issue stems from being unaware of this skill.
You could have an IQ of 200, and still not solve the issues.
The more shocking truth is that most "geniuses" struggle with precisely this issue.
- Most CEO's or executives struggle with precisely this issue.
- Most scientists or physicists struggle with precisely this.
- Most artists struggle with precisely this.
It is also the #1 reason crime exists in this world.
The problem primarily lies in the fact that people either don't care about learning it or are arrogant towards it and fail to recognize the importance of regularly improving this skill.
To not keep you on the line, I am referring to emotional intelligence and the mastery of your mind and emotions.
At the end of the newsletter, you will (hopefully) understand the impact, the changes, and how to learn to master it consistently.
The Greatest Investment of Your Life.
If the emotions are aligned, everything takes care of itself. - Mark Manson
Every skill is an outcome of how effectively people regulate their thoughts while skillfully navigating and influencing the emotions of others.
Think about it:
- Raising children is an emotional endeavour.
- Managing ADHD symptoms involves regulating the nervous system and emotions. (While improving the gut, where most issues start.)
- Negotiations in relationships, friendships and business relations are all based on emotions.
Everyone worships "high-IQ people" because most people are addicted to numbers and status. This provides them with an ultimatum and clarity, as they are unable to think for themselves and lack clarity about their individual selves. That's why most people are NPCs, not because they are, but because they choose to be one.
Many people turn to worshiping stars or public figures because they struggle with a sense of identity.
They imagine themselves in the skin of the other individual, distancing themselves from their mind and live in a fake, created world, which is extremely far from reality.
They are in search of a God or "Gods" outside of themselves.
But the only thing they see is darkness, because they are casting a shadow from the light source, but they don't understand that to find light (God), they need to turn around.
But to "find" your identity, discover your purpose, become happier, build the kingdom, and create wealth, one must get closer to light and face one's own shadows, and these problems only persist in the mind, created by thoughts and emotions.
Learning or improving your emotional intelligence will be the single most significant investment, as it determines the outcome of your entire life.
Most problems are mental.
The Number #1 Future Proof Skill (The Meta skill of meta skills)
This lack of emotional intelligence und self-mastery is a significant contributor to the widespread chaos and destruction we see today, Wars, conflicts, und personal strife often stem from uncontrolled emotions and a lack of understanding of our own inner nature. By failing to teach people how to manage and understand their emotions, society remains trapped In a cycle of fear, reacting to the world from a place of lower consciousness rather than from a place of peace and understanding. - The Book of Wisdom Vol. 2
Dealing with emotions, your mind and humans will always be the number #1 future-proof skill.
NO AI will help you with that.
Ask yourself: Do you prefer talking to an AI or a human being?
But a short side note, what I don't understand is this:
The people who would benefit the most from AI are not using it. Most people lack financial resources or are in the early stages of a business, and they harbour a peculiar anger towards AI.
Do you want to hire a guy who costs you $2000, which you don't have, or use AI to fill the gap until you can afford someone more skilled in a singular domain?
I enjoy working with others, but I also prefer to work alone.
The issue is that people can be a significant distraction.
Because in 90% of the cases, it is more fun talking to your colleague than doing the actual work. Once you experience the rush of dopamine, you don't want to return to the "boring" work.
Talking with an individual engages more senses, which makes it a more stimulating experience than the work itself.
AI should help you in a less stimulating way to complete your work independently.
AI should help you stay in a deep work state, minimizing the friction and workload you don't want to do.
Now listen to this, please, this is extremely important:
The good thing about AI is that it will remove many logical ways of thinking; it will excel in math, language, programming, etc. These are all left-brain pursuits (logical brain) and also masculine skills, because the left brain is associated with the masculine side, characterized by analytical and logical thinking.
And this is the exact problem we are currently facing: a society dominated by logic and technology, and a lack of emotional depth.
I like technology, but most people lose the entire side of their brain, which is the right side, including the emotional and feminine aspects, by only thinking logically, but NOT logically-creative.
Let me ask you this: Would you prefer to do the dishes, clean the house, program, OR spend time outside, getting sunlight, hiking, training, reading, writing, playing the guitar, jumping in the ocean, or travelling the world?
AI should support and help people by pursuing creative work and creating free time for emotional experiences.
Investing in understanding your mind, emotions, and humans will never be a waste of time. It might not yield an immediate financial return on investment, which is why most people don't invest in it, as they don't fully understand dopamine. However, it will offer the highest leverage ever possible.
If you learn the basics of humans and the universe, you are future-proofing yourself. No AI can fully replace humans or simulate a human experience; it will always be a tool, created by humans.
One thing I see as crucial is that it might not bring you much money now, but it will definitely pay off sooner or later.
Most people invest thousands of hours in a software tool. The goal is to relearn the skills when a new and better tool comes out.
But learning and practicing how they use their mind always falls short.
Before we go to the next chapter, remember this:
Don't learn the tool, understand the system behind it. If you are familiar with the system and its overall structure, you can switch tools without any issues and learn the new one.
This is why I explain my Chaos to Clarity Method in Kortex (part of the challenges), because it not only works in Kortex or Notion, but also works across all platforms and devices.
It is a universal skill to create clarity out of chaos and to organize your entire life.
How To Improve Your Emotional Intelligence?
Emotional intelligence is not set in stone; it is a skill, like anything else. You can develop it, or life slowly declines. It is your choice how you want to proceed.
How can you improve your emotional intelligence to benefit your professional and personal life? (no particular order)
-
Be precise with your emotions:
- I feel frustrated because X
- Person X made me feel X. What is the root cause of the trigger, or how am I feeling?
- Develop awareness of physical signals, such as a tight chest, shallow breathing, and tension. Once developed, you can literally feel your body.
- Practice deep listening, mirroring, validating, and intentionally sensing others' emotions.
- Learn to repair ruptures in relationships actively, put your ego aside, and apologize effectively. Negotiate boundaries and try to detach from your ego in conflicts, seeing them constructively. Analyze like a job, but BE SOFT as you would talk to a kid (don't talk to a kid).
- Clarify your values and integrity. Communicate what matters to you without judging the other individual.
- Many problems in all types of relationships stem from unacknowledged parts of ourselves. Writing, therapy, or coaching can help. You can also talk more to other individuals, especially with a partner, because they mirror or reflect your behaviour.
-
Learn to tolerate uncomfortable feedback. Most people are dishonest with themselves. Be ruthless and honest with yourself; be hard on yourself, but speak to yourself with a calm voice inside your head.
- A harsh word inside your mind will reflect outside of your mind. Language and wording hold great power.
- Learn to love without emotional attachment or healthy detachment. Become entirely reliant on yourself. Other humans should be an addition to your life.
-
Change emotional states, from frustration to curiosity, worry to calm, negative to positive. All this is your inner vibration; you can shift it.
- You will feel better talking to yourself in a soft, calm, and empowering voice.
- Watch other people. I know this sounds judgmental, but observing people in public places like cafes or supermarkets and analyzing their behaviours can be a valuable learning experience. Put your phone away, and if you are bored, take a look at what others are doing. (Most people look at their phone and don't learn anything.)
-
All of this requires practice, ideally daily.
Hope this was helpful.
