If you have ADHD like me, you know how quickly you abandon a business idea.
It feels exciting at first.
Dopamine, curiosity and novelty rush into your brain, and you want to act immediately.
And you do.
You buy a domain for 14$ per year.
You start designing a logo with ChatGPT.
You think about a suitable name for your business.
You start posting the first pieces of content. Maybe even an entire week.
And then you stop.
The moment it gets boring and your brain doesn’t get any new stimulation, you quit.
I haven’t been any better for 25 years of my life.
I started 3 businesses.
Tried 11 business ideas.
And never committed fully until the last 2 years.
I was addicted to shiny object syndrome.
As you probably are, as we all ADHD people are.
What I learned in the last 2 years, with studying the human mind, writing online and building a community of like-minded individuals, is:
If you don’t build a system your mind can trust and rely on, you are not able to produce work people are going to pay for, whether this is to serve your boss or your customers.
Your ADHD mind needs a system.
Imagine playing a video game and a quest leads you to a city with 8960 citizens, where you need to find a smith to craft a legendary sword.
The quest only tells you: “Find the smith in Novigrad”.
You walk around the city for hours, talk to every single person and go into every house.
But you find nothing.
Not even a single hint.
Nothing that points you to the smith.
After hours of searching and being unable to continue the quest, you put down the controller and quit the game.
And every single time you think of starting the game again, you remember you need to do this boring, annoying quest of finding the smith.
Are you going to start the game again?
Probably not.
If you have ever abandoned a habit tracker, a morning routine, or an entire personal brand because the “quest” had no clear next step, this is exactly why.
That’s why you need a system.
Systems give your mind a frame to operate.
You want a quest where you can see and feel the progress you make.
It shouldn’t tell you exactly where the smith is, but it should give you a frame with little hints that feels like you are making progress towards the goal of the quest.
Which is: “Finding the smith to craft your legendary sword.”
A clear direction and path, but freedom to operate within a frame.
And this “system” should make it easy for you to operate 4% above your skill level, reaching a flow state where hours feel like minutes.
The system can be a routine, a training habit or a Notion system. (Like Chaos To Clarity)
Or all of it simultaneously.
The Autonomous Mind
You want to systemize your mind so you can let go and be fully in the present moment. In a way that you do the majority of the work without force, develop subconscious habits and experience life to the fullest.
- Your conscious mind is limited to 50 bits per second.
- Your subconscious mind can process 11 million bits per second.
The moment you systematize your work, your habits, and your routine is the moment you shift to a subconscious habit and operate at 11 million bits per second.
This creates “space” for your mind, saves cognitive resources, and lets you use the full 50 bits per second for learning new skills.
It’s like walking, brushing your teeth or driving.
You don’t consciously think about each step you need to take. You just execute it without thinking.

I am going to present my “Master ADHD, By Systemizing Your Mind” tonight at 8 pm EDT in our Discord community.
