🔥The Hardest 2 Years of My Life.

In December 2023, I got the message from my sister:

“Dad has less than a week to live”

I packed my suitcase, booked a ticket home, drove to the airport and I was up in the air.

But the moment my sister picked me up from the airport and came out crying, I knew I was too late.

Unfortunately, my dad had passed away 18 hours earlier.

My life turned by 180 degrees.

Not only did I lose my dad, but I had no foundation built at the time; I was fully on my own.

I had no dad. No business at this time. No money. No job. No income. Not even a degree or a supportive family, except for my dad, who just passed away.

Due to this circumstance, I needed to move back into my mum’s place.

Not only that, but instead of being able to address this one problem and cope with the grief, I had to face every possible problem at once. Grief, finances, starting a new business, and very difficult family dynamics.

I was at pure rock bottom. My thoughts were negative and self-destructive.

Every day looked like this:

Wake up.
Make coffee.
Tried to work.
Play video games.

Playing video games was the only place where my mind stopped looping.

8 months later, I knew it couldn’t continue this way; I needed to make a drastic change.

I gave myself 90 days to start this new creation business to hit my first 5K.

I desperately failed.

I didn’t make a single dollar.

What I found instead was something much more important during this time.

I discovered the missing puzzle piece I was searching for my entire life.

A deep sense of purpose, direction and clarity.

Suddenly, I stopped chasing ten different things. I finally knew what mattered.

I stopped the bad habits of overeating and procrastination because my purpose was above them.

I had a goal I was aiming towards.

Everything that distracted me from this purpose was noise.

I started to change my diet to a low-blood-sugar diet to maintain clarity and continue pursuing my purpose.

I even overcame grief with it.

Eventually, it took me 2 years to get out of this situation.

But through all of this pain and suffering, I found direction, clarity & and most importantly, purpose.

That journey eventually became Chaos to Clarity. A way to turn inner chaos into meaningful creation. But more on that the next couple of days.

But for today, we have our weekly ADHD live calls in our Discord community again at 8 pm EDT, with today’s topic of “The Weekend Creator: A different way to think about work, money, and time.”:

People want what other people want. Everyone on social media now lives the same life. Get your morning sunlight. Get your electrolytes. Join the run club. Do an ice bath. Drink matcha. The hardest thing in business is to still be there 5 years from now. Half of all businesses die in the first 5 years. But there is a problem more quiet than bankruptcy: When it gets boring. You buy the domain. You start designing the logo. You start reaching out to clients. You start outlining your brand vision. But the moment it gets boring, and results slow down, you quit. You might be the aspiring entrepreneur or creator who started multiple business ideas or multiple attempts to post...

If you have ADHD like me, you know how quickly you abandon a business idea. It feels exciting at first. Dopamine, curiosity and novelty rush into your brain, and you want to act immediately. And you do. You buy a domain for 14$ per year. You start designing a logo with ChatGPT. You think about a suitable name for your business. You start posting the first pieces of content. Maybe even an entire week. And then you stop. The moment it gets boring and your brain doesn’t get any new stimulation,...
